Yes they are, I would call them and try to make a reservation, and see what time they say they are having the buffet
The musician were there when I arrived. Acoustic guitar was playing solo...beautiful
I'm not sure I'm not from that area
Yep!!!!
Yes
You may make reservations anytime, but i don't know about any buffet
Ratings- Atmosphere (4): great atmosphere. Live musicians and vocalist on certain nights is a plus- Food (4): good appetizers and dishes. Blackened catfish was good but somewhat too salty (but bland rice helped a little). - Desserts (3): not the best array but cheese cake was there so I enjoyed some- Staff (4): Friendly, helpful, enjoyable
All choices are awesome.
So disappointed they changed the menu.. No more shrimp ducky. No more red hot potatoes. Even the bayou broccoli balls are different. Oh well Copelands... our time together was great. Hate that it has ended.
Very rude waitress. Husband ordered a lot of food to celebrate our anniversary. Take home what we didnt want. She let us know how she felt about us ordering so much food for just the two of us. Rice was not done in either dish. Appetizers arrived cold. Sorry he ordered a whole half of a chicken. Wont happen again. Thanks for a very memorable anniversary
Food was really delicious, but the service was not that great! It was completely empty and we were sitting there waiting on someone to take our order for about 15 minutes. She put in our order and then we finally got drinks with our appetizer. Then we sat and watched our server talk to the guy at the bar while someone else brought out our food and we had sat there without drink for a solid 30 minutes. Then she finally came back and brought our check and then was going to walk away. I had to flag her down, before she ran off from our table, to get refills and to-go boxes. She showed us her best service when she was bringing back the check and then was never to be seen again. Only reason I'd go back is because the food was amazing. We will just make sure we get a different server!!
Soo delicious the best food I've had on my travels!
Great food, service and prices.
Road trip.. So off to Copeland’s I went. I’m from New Orleans so it better be good lol I ate in the bar section and the waitress did a really good job. Overall the food was good and had good presentation. The location was also clean and smelled good. It felt a bit warm inside but it’s a very hot today. Maybe they could have adjusted the ac to accommodate the heat outside. Good job and I would return to this location.
Food was good, service was slow.
Friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced. Also very clean environment.
Tried the Sunday buffet and was sorely disappointed. The rice was crunchy and not completely cooked. All of the pasta dishes were bland. I wondered is the kitchen was out of seasoning. The shrimp and tasso pasta was flavorless pasta in a cream sauce void if shrimp or tasso. Cheese grits too were bland and missing cheese. It's clear the cooks don't taste their work. It's very sad. I will say the gumbo and fried fish were good. The service... Well I should have brought my own drinks because our waitress didn't. Copeland's used to be one of the best dinning experiences in Monroe. It was the worst dinning experiences I have had this year hands down. I will not go back. Rest in peace Al Copeland. You would not be happy with what you'd find at this franchise.
This was the worst experience ever. I didn’t get my drink until 35 minutes after I ordered it. We were there for two hours and hardly any table checks. My steak was cold and it was just terrible. We will never be back what so ever. It’s not very often that we get to go out on a date night and this time it was horrible!!!!
Food was fantastic and the entertainment was superb. We were pleasantly surprised.
Good creole food, miss the low country boil and their staple shrimp ducky. Please bring it back! The jazz brunch buffet is really good!
Great food and great service. The staff where so sweet and helpful, they made the place very welcoming
Nice atmosphere, food was good and didn't take too long to come out. Mostly a seafood food based menu with a few other selections for people allergic to seafood.
Under cooked pecan crusted catfish....ugh....creamed spinach was mostly cream....very disappointed in this meal. My sons shrimp poboy was fair. His bake potato had a rotten spot on it. We'll pass on Copelands next time.
The food SUCKED but had a great waitress
I personally had a wonderful experience. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had in a long time. My waitress Corianne made it that much better. Delicious food and a great outside ambiance.
The food was awesome, seasoned and cooked with perfection!
Traveling through Louisiana, thought we would try some Cajun food. Long day of traveling, so we were tired and hungry. Placed a pickup order at 6:40 pm. The person that took the order said 20-30 minutes. Thought that was reasonable. So we waited and waited and waited...it’s 8:00pm and still no food. We give up! I do not recommend this place at all. The food may be good, but I will never know. We give up. Going to go somewhere to get something to eat. Obviously this place isn’t it.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff are very nice
The atmosphere was nice and quiet and our waiter was great! The food was DELICIOUS! I had the fries catfish plate and there was so much food!! My hubs had the Crawfish etouffee and ate every bite! We had the Bananas Foster for dessert!
Superb atmosphere for dinning with friends and family along with cajun food capable of bringing good family memories to any Cajun!
Crab stuffed shrimp was awesome! Side of broccoli was over done. All in all great atmosphere and staff!
My congregation went as a group. $50 per couple.Good things: Room was set up nice, food was on burners upon arrival, staff was friendly. Bad things: Food was cold when served, We ran out of the entrees halfway through the line of people, the red beans were mush, and it was as if management didn't want us to take home the leftover catered food. Our server took care of us tho and we got some to go containers. I wouldn't go the same route in the future.
Ordering and picking up to go food during a pandemic should not be this difficult. While the staff were friendly they were disorganized and picking up my food took over 20 minutes. My suggestion would be that the hostesses handle to go food rather than the bartender like I have seen in other restaurants. This would make it a five star review. The food was good as always.
Some of the best customer service ever! From fb bartenders to the managers.
Don't waste your money. Food is barely edible and service is atrocious.
Food was not up to standards. It was good but not as good as usual. Waitress was friendly but over sat and stretched to thin but she done her best
Awesome brunch with my family. The food is ALWAYS good and the service was also. This is definitely on my TO DO list every time I come home 💜
Copeland's has always been my favorite restaurant for date night with the husband or to bring the family when they come in town. We always look forward to it. However, we moved New Orleans for a year and of course this was our first stop when returning for a family night of drinks and amazing food to catch up over.. However....We were in shock... The atmosphere has changed, the entire menu has changed and not for the better. They absolutely took New Orleans right off the menu and out of the building. Moving on the atmosphere, the tables had paper for the kids to draw on and to make clean up easy, just roll it up and toss it away with a fresh one just underneath. Sorry but Copeland's is not the place for that. The servers were not attentive at all and did not know the menu. They complained and looked at you while doing it. The food was not good. I had the blackened redfish and it was dry and cold. My husband had a steak that was over cooked and chewy.
Came at the right time. Got timely service and the food was really good. The one menu item I would suggest is the fried chicken, which was excellent.
Bacon was fatty and was out of most items my family wanted fries cold as well Copelands isn't the same😞
The appetizers are to die for. If you are visiting the area and want some good food this place is a must. I am biased because this area is my second home but if you have an opportunity to go...and don't...you are missing out. If you are in town and have no reason to go, MAKE ONE!! You will not be disappointed. Uncle Rah wouldn't lie to you.
We went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our food very much. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and explaining different choices. We had the Creole style cheesecake for dessert-it was good but would have been better if we had added toppings.
Food was tasty and fairly priced. Service was very good. Restrooms needed attention is only disappointment.
After our dinner several of the staff helped us chase down a 6 week old black bobtail kitten in the bushes outside, definitely went above and beyond! 5/5 stars, would totally rescue kittens with again
Not as good as it was pre Covid 19, but they are working on improving. I enjoyed my meal, however, the artichoke and spinach dip bow tie pasta was freezer burn. My server was new and very nice.
Had excellent service this time. Food was awesome. Could use some updates inside for the prices!
Good food. Service was sooooooooo slow!
I didn't get my drink...I didn't get my food...there was a log wait with a reservation...it was a horrible EXPERIENCE...I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!
Our food was great! The server, I wish I could remember her name, but she was also the bartender, took great care of us. We were in town and only able to visit there on our last day, but I would highly recommend them.
Beans and rice awesome steak awesome fried shrimp and crawfish awesome fried fish kinda muddy tasting all in all not to bad o & crawfish e tu fa good
Phenomenal food, beverages, dessert Service & atmosphere 💐
One of my favorite local restaurants. Love the New Orleans's style food. The Jazzy Wings are always a great choice. Low lighting and a comfortable atmosphere for dining alone or with others.
best restaurant in monroe if you ask me. the service was not the best but the food made up for it. HIGHLY recommend this place.
Good drinks, we just had appetizers bit the Crawfish bread is great!
I couldn’t wait to get some REAL Copeland’s in Louisiana this trip and I have to say that I was s little disappointed. The food was good, but the service was slow and the place needs a remodel. With all the updates going on around it, The 35th Anniversary of Copeland’s should include a makeover.
Horrible service, average food. Will never return, walked out
